She has worked extensively in matters involving privatization and securitization in various industries and has also negotiated and structured a number of domestic Acquisitions and PPP’s. She has experience in Corporate/Commercial; Intellectual Property (including Trade and Service Marks, Patents and Copyright), Competition, Product Liability Laws and Company Secretarial Practice. Nuru boasts of her strong business acumen from her experience of working with World Class companies in and outside of Kenya. Having worked with companies which are highly regulated, Nuru has expertise and experience in dealing with complicated regulatory and compliance issues such as Anti-trust, Anti-Money laundering; and Anti-Bribery and their related laws and regulations in Kenya, and neighbouring countries, the UK and the US.
